Coming out in X and Y, we get another attack boosting tool, Muscle Band. What this does is give a 20 attack boost to what it's attached to; essentially a Dark Claw for any Pokemon. While I don't think this will make Silver Bangle obsolete, it does have some things that make it better, mainly that it can be attached to Pokemon EX.

>Thundurus EX can do even more damage for just one energy (up to 90!).
>Deoxys EX and Mewtwo EX also benefit: Deoxys can Helix Force a Keldeo with four energy attached for the knock out. Mewtwo can two hit KO Darkrai with just a DCE.
>Makes it easier for Pokemon EX that hit for 150 (Kyurem PLB and Reshiram NXD) to hit those magic numbers on EX's. They instantly KO all the 170 HP threats and only need a laser to take out the Darkrai's and Black Kyurems. For those wanting to run Emboar and Blastoise, but don't want to run multiple energy type for their big attackers (Rayquaza and Black Kyurem respectively), they have a different way.
>Even something obscure like Latias EX. The 70 for 3 attack is well below average, but with MB, you hit the magic 90.
Of course, there are still times when I can see Silver Bangle being the optimal choice. Particularly when non EX pokemon can easily hit 140 or 150 (plasma Kyurem with 2 or 3 Deoxys). In that case, you already take out the non EX threats so you're only real threat are EXes. The 10 extra damage becomes crucial there. There's also situations like the tool drop deck. In which case, either tool can benefit it. I'm gonna try not to fall into the trap of "OMG BEST THING EVA!!" (which I've done in the past), but I do think this will be a pretty good card next format
