Movie Maker Help?

Can someone tell me how to move movie maker videos to Youtube please? I tried doing quick capture and my videos came out horrible!

Save the video to your computer as a .wmv file.

Then, load the video to YouTube.

It's pretty straightforward... why hasn't anyone replied to this thread?
