Pokémon (14):
  • 3 Centiscorch Vmax S2a (beatdown)
  • 4 Centiscorch V S2a (beatdown)
  • 3 Volcanion SM10 (beatdown)
  • 1 Ninetales V S2 (beatdown)
  • 3 Jirachi SM8b (search)

Trainer (34):
  • 2 Boss's Order (control)
  • 3 Prof. Research (draw)
  • 3 Marnie (draw)
  • 4 Welder (draw)
  • 3 Pokémon Communication (search)
  • 3 Evolution Incense (search)
  • 3 Giant Bomb (beatdown)
  • 3 Escape Board (retreat)
  • 4 Quick Ball (search)
  • 3 Switch (retreat)
  • 3 Giant Hearth (search)
Energy (12):
  • 3 Heat Energy
  • 9 Fire Energy

STRATEGY:

Start with Jirachi to search for trainer cards and switch either into Centiscorch V or Volcanion. The latter one is the ideal active Pokémon on the first turn going second to accelerate to a benched Centiscorch V. Next turn evolve into Centiscorch Vmax and start to hit the defender with Max Centiferno. Since Cenitscorch Vmax may accelerate to itself the damage is rather scaleable and can be adjusted to the situation at hand to knock out the defender in either one or two hits.

SPOILER:

All spoilers have been taken from the front page of Pokébeach.

Centiscorch Vmax

Would you consider a simple swap of Escape board for Scoop Up Net viable if you were to make this list post rotation?

rotation is nowhere near about to happen. And given the events this year, it's not even a 100% guarantee that rotation happens at all. By the time rotation happens we are gonna have an entire other set. There's no reason to worry about it right now.

Hi John InCENAroar,

In this particular list Scoop Up Net would work as an alternative but I would like to increase the count to four.
