this thread is for metroid. if you have a wii and did not know this on wii ware you can get a metroid 3 preview and watch it. by now all videos should be on there. this game is awsome. i have it but i am not allowed to have it till my b-day beacouse i reserved it. post here for all metroid game disscusion.
 
I was thinking about getting it but do you have to have completed the other ones to understand it?
 
not really you just have to know the enemys like dark samus, ridly, and the space pirates. it has awsome graphics but is really hard.
 
Would you recommend me getting it? If yes i'll have to add to my list of: mario galaxy, SSBB, SPM and worms OW2. So this one isn't a direct sequil to the others?
 
as far as i know it has a completely different objective in the game. if you like hard action games i would recommend it.
 
My friend got it, and he said that the very first boss battle was quite the best boss battle he's ever had. He's played maybe 30 minutes of it and he says it's amazing.

I'm getting it tomorrow.

i have it alreday but my mom wont let me have it until december for my b-day. i heard about this game since 9 months ago!

That battle was UNBELIEVEABLE! This game is soo sick its not even funny. Seriously, I think anyone with decent game taste that plays this game will want to get it *exceptions being cranky old people and soccer moms, lol*. Its just an amazing game (at least the first 2 hours have been).
 
the final boss is ridley. you can get a metroid preiview of the game on wii shop channel wii ware.
 
Although I'm not sure about this (haven't updated the wii in a while, so I haven't seen the video), I'm pretty sure what you saw was actually the first battle I was referring to.
