Ruling Mespirit Psychic Bind vs Gengar Fainting Spell

First off, I did search and found nothing. This has to have been asked before but here goes.

If I play Mespirit and Psychic Bind pokepower and then knock out a Gengar on the same turn. Does fainting spell pokepower get stopped since its technically still his turn concluding?

Mesprit La only stops powers during your opponent's turn. Gengar's Fainting Spell activates during your turn.

Gengar would be allowed to use Fainting Spell, since it's not the Gengar user's turn.

Psychic Bind only stops Poké-Powers on your opponent's turn - not yours.
