Why not utilize Field Blower to use a tool on MegaZard. In expanded the main one is Protection Cube, while in standard maybe use Wish Baton

this is for standard but i suppose you could use it in expanded like that

Maybe you could try using more Ho-Oh-EX and no basic Charizard-EX (I know this is a stretch, but...) I feel like it'd give Mega Charizard some easier set up. In expanded you could use Battle Compressor to get the Mega into the discard pile, and then use Ho-Oh to bring them out. If used with wish Baton and Kiawe, it'd actually be really easy to continuously fight with your Mega Charizards.
