Machamp sf (need ideas)

Machamp is usually best run by himself for max consistancy. He really doesn't counter most SP's though. Any good SP player sees a machamp player, and knows to play lock-mode. They essencially have 6 turns to take out 2 champ. Not that hard. I'd just run him with a standard Unown R engine. If you want, play him with Donphan, Kingdra, or Gengar. None of the above are great decks...just play the guy by himself.

I just dont think that machamp is all that great. It's just soo easy to psychic restore/ dragon rush it, or uxie X/ lucario/crobat, or toxitank.

Zero hit the nail on the head. Go straight Machamp, but I'd tech in a 1-1 line of Donphan Prime in my deck if I ran Machamp to OHKO Luxray GL LV.X.

4-2-3-1 Machamp SF-Machamp LV.X
4x Unown R LA
1-1 Donphan Prime
2x Uxie LA

Plus, if you want to run other techs, (Machamp can use DCE, and so can others), don't hesitate to test 'em out. That's the skeleton of my Machamp line, but some don't run the LV.X.

^ Why do you need donphan? Doesnt machamp OHKO a luxray?

Also I disagree with you guys, I think that it is horrible by itself. You will definitely only win the sp matchup and that is it. Sometimes you may lose to an sp player so waht is the point of playing the deck?

It is too weak by itself and doesnt hit for enough. Id tell you to play it with gengar or kingdra. They both are good deck and even though it is less consistent than it was with claydol, it is worth it as once your set up it is near impossible for you to be taken down by sp and all your other matchups are fairly evened out with the addition of a main attacker.

I would suggest

3-3-3 Gengar/Kingdra (gengar lv x is useful as well)
2-2-2 Machamp
1-1-1 Plume
3 tombs
1 or 2 uxies (I prefer one)

4-4-4 machamp for ultra max consistency. You'd be amazed how many decks you can win against just by hurricane punching every single turn of the game.

how bout this skeleton?

4-3-3/1 machamp SF
1-1 donphan
2 lunatone cats
2 solrock cats
2-2 drifblim SF
2-1-2 vileplume

basic lock, locking your opponent's trainer's, basic pokemon, and healing. sol/luna combo shut's down RSL\s 50 dmg attack that heal's, blissy prime and nidoqueen RR, and the rest has been fairly well known and established over the past few month's. cya

P.S. HST come's out fairly soon so I thought I'd mention it

Don't play Unown R.

If you play Machamp you're probably just gonna wanna run straight Machamp. Think this past season's Jumpluff but with Machamp instead, and realize that you are going to lose to most other things besides SP, especially Gengar.

Well i play machamp with raikou and enti legend and my deck hase no poke powers in it and i also have chatot from majestic dawn.

I am totally disagreeing with lone Machamp. Lone Machamp falls apart late game, it needs a side attacker such as Gengar or Champrime.

I was thinking the same thing about this deck.

I am trying to build it for BR's. Straight Machamp can only beat SP decks and even then it's not definite.

I was thinking of using it with Nidoqueen, but right now I am using Flygon.

I tried with Donphan, but you never do enough damage mid game to beat any tier 2 decks, also it doesn't help against Gengar.

If they are using uxie X/are a great player with SP/ have some other machamp/mewtwo counter then you are in trouble. My palkia lock was losing to machamp every game, then I added a 1-1 drifblim UD and it helped wonders. Even mewtwo's good against machamp.
