hey there,
i just found back in ptcg and I really love those break cards.
as luxray is one of my favourite pokemon ever, i decided to do a luxray break deck - so i watched a view videos.
But its always said that Luxray Break isnt a very good core to build a deck around and its outclassed by raichu break
So: is there a way to play luxray break with a chance of winning tournament? (its ok to lose against a few meta-decks, but i want to have at least a chance.)
And what about this deck? (its from a youtube video)
-Magnemite 2x
-Magneton 1x
-Magnezone 2x
-Shinx 3x
-Luxio 2x
-Luxray 3x
-Luxray BREAK 3x
-Raikou 1x
-Remoraid 2x
-Octillery 2x

-Level Ball 2x
-Proffessors Letter 1x
-Rare Candy 3x
-Super Rod 1x
-Switch 1x
-Ultra Ball 3x
-VS Seeker 4x
-Brigette 1x
-Lysander 1x
-Prof. Birch's Observations 2x
-Prof. Scyamor 2x
-Skyla 1x
-Wally 1x
-Rough Sea 2x
-Trick Coin 3x
-DCE 2x
-Electro Energy 9x

-1 Lightning energy
-1 Remoraid
-1 Level Ball
-1 Octilley
-1 Wally
-2 Prof. Birch
-3 Trick coin (Pretty sure they're rotated out of standard format.)

+2 Tapu Lele-GX (Consistency)
+2 Fliptini (SM2)
+2 Sycamore
+1 Lysandre
+1 Ultra ball
+2 N

This would make the deck more consistent and run smoother.

first of all, thanks for your response!
arent 8 lightning - and also even 9 - energys too little, even though i have 2 magnezones?
i thought wally'd make sense, because i have so many stage 1 and -2 pokemon.
are you sure trick coin isnt in standard format anymore? and if they didnt rotate out, would they make sense?

i actually dont really understand, why you prefer tapu-lele gx :D
ok, victini is nice, if trick coin is banned from standard.
why so many cards like scyamore and n?

sorry for all my questions, but im a complete newbie :D
and what do the others think? :D

10 Energy I think is enough, however if you play test it and it seems to be too little then raise the count to 11 ~ 12.
Wally does make sense, but rare candy is all you need (Maybe even add a 4th candy.)
Trick coin is out of the current standard format, Primal Clash-on, but that is irrelevant as Victini is much better because it can't be field blower(ed) away. Also it is exceedingly more consistent having <90 HP, so it can be level balled (Level ball is rotating in a few months, but if you're still using this deck, Victini will stay strong.) Try adding 2 choice bands to this list to deal more damage to GX and EXs.
Tapu Lele-GX is an amazing card. Simply getting it from your deck allows you to get any supporter. Whichever supporter you may need, you can get w/ Lele. One of the ideal factors about Tapu Lele is that you can turn an ultra ball into a supporter. This gets you out of many dead draw situations.
Sycamore and N are staple supporters and are amongst the strongest draw power out there.

-Magneton 1x
-Magnezone 2x
-Shinx 3x
-Luxio 2x

-Remoraid 1x
-Octillery 1x
-Tapu Lele-GX 2x
-Victini (SM2) 2x

-Level Ball 1x
-Proffessors Letter 1x
-Rare Candy 3x
-Super Rod 1x
-Switch 1x
-Ultra Ball 4x
-VS Seeker 4x
-Brigette 1x
