I have just built a Lucario Bats deck which I will be using for tournaments this season and I am looking for some help and or tweaks to it.

Pokémon:
  • 3 Lucario EX
  • 2 Hawlucha
  • 4 Zubat
  • 3 Golbat
  • 3 Crobat
  • 1 Miltank
  • 1 Jirachi Promo 67
  • 1 Shaymin EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:
  • 3 Muscle Band
  • 2 Focus Sash
  • 3 Fighting Stadium
  • 1 Parallel City / silent lab (not sure on this one will have to test.)
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 2 Level Ball
  • 1 Professor's Letter
  • 1 Switch
  • 1 Enhanced Hammer
  • 4 VS Seeker
  • 3 Korrina
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 2 Lysandre
  • 1 Judge
  • 1 Giovanni's Scheme
  • 1 AZ
Energy:
  • 4 Strong Energy
  • 5 Fighting Energy
Strategy:

The decks strategy is pretty straightforward. Lucario EX and Hawlucha are your main attackers and can hit hard for a single energy. you then use the Crobat line to place damage counters around to boost the damage you can deals. Jirachi and miltank are backup attackers.

Notes-

I have a few odd choices in this deck so I will explain my logic on them. The one copy of Shaymin EX is temporary I will be getting a second one soon but for now I only have one. The single copy of Miltank is to be a non EX attacker To get around stuff like Regice which it can one shot with a Muscle Band and Golbat drop. The one Parallel City is to slow down sky field deck or just to limit my opponents bench also it can be used to limit the damage output on fire water and grass decks. The Jirachi Promo is used to stall out decks that heavily relay on special energy's and hard counter decks that only run special energy's like toadtina. The one Giovanni's Scheme is to make it possible for Hawlucha to one shot EX's with 170 hp.

Questions-

I have been considering dropping a focus Sash for a super rod is that a good idea?

What should I cut when I do get another shaymin EX?

Why do people usually run more hawlucha than Lucario EX?

Any other suggestions?

Edit- slightly modified deck list

Actually, your list seems quite satisfactory. You should play 2 Fighting Stadium and 1 Silent Lab. Because you only have 2 main attackers, you should play a split between 2 Focus Sash and 2 Muscle Band. You only do need 1 Shaymin, since you will be attacking with Lucario most of the time. I'll just give you my list to see the differences:

Pokémon:18
  • 3 Lucario-EX
  • 3 Hawlucha
  • 1 Miltank
  • 1 Shaymin-EX
  • 4 Zubat
  • 3 Golbat
  • 3Crobat
Trainers:33
  • 4 Sycamore
  • 4 Shauna
  • 2 Birch
  • 2 Lysandre
  • 2 Korrina
  • 2 Fighting Stadium
  • 1 Silent Lab
  • 2 Muscle Band
  • 2 Focus Sash
  • 3 Level Ball
  • 2 Ultra Ball
  • 2 VS Seeker
  • 4 Super Scoop Up
  • 1 Escape Rope
I'll admit I'm still learning with the deck myself and wouldn't consider myself an expert on the deck, but this list has been relatively successful. I usually base my Bats decks around getting Bats out as fast as possible while getting my Energy into play.
Energy:9
  • 5 Fighting
  • 4 Strong
