For those who purchased the 2 disc DVD of "Lucario and The Mystery of Mew" this thread is to discuss it and to share your opinions.

"Lucario and The Mystery of Mew' is the 8th film and the last one done by 4Kids. Sadley its also the last we'll hear of the original Va's. So when you see this think of it as a good bye from Veronica, Maddie, Eric, and Amy.

"The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" is the first special of Pokemon USA that has been re-dubbed with the new Vas and has the new-new Ash Va. When I get this soon I'll add my two cents. For now I hope some of you get this so we can hear some spoilers

Well I just watched the English version of Pokemon Movie Eight.
Just for the record Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero, Lucario(JP) and Lucario and The Mystery of Mew (ENG).

TRANSLATION:
Well other than the English puns that they do not have in Japanese, it was decent. MIME JR just say MIME. ONE PROBLEM is Pikachu should say Pika PI not PIKA BEE. (as per the subtitles). Unlike Movie 5 they left what happened in the Past in.

KIDD: well thats her name in the Japanese Version too.

Leen and Aileen translated to I don't remember were close enough for me.

Aaron: well I am glad they kept his name too.

Masato (Max) and Gonbe(Munchlax): you know these two had the right idea and ate in the movie.

MUSIC:
"Unbeatable" is the worst theme ever for the start of the movie.
The Japanese theme was also their Battle Fronteir theme, but is much better, when Pikachu attacks it goes "powwaa miragatte" (my power is rising) you know which actually has something to do with the attack XD?

The Ending I liked the English one better I KNOW! anyway the Japanese ending was done by PufiAmiUmi and it was like, ok, but Untill we meet again dod go better then, naming all the TYPES of pokemon (normal Poison ect, gotta know them all blah.)

Ash doesn't Think at the end "Lucario isn't gone" in the Japanese Version.
Satoshi just says "The Wave is in me"

PUI added certain more information, I think this is the first movie a POKEMON MOVIE added things (WOW), including lines to the Queens role.
Movie 5 was so cut up and sad grr, and they totally ruined the ending in 5.

It was a shame in the credits you didn't hear Ash say "Lucario was able to meet his friend" (Japanese) when he saw the painting of Lucario and Aaron.


OVERALL:
Well IMO the best Translated Movie WORD FOR WORD was Jirachii and The Wishing Star of 7 nights (Jirachi Wish Maker). This comes close to perfect other than the stuff they ADDED in (better than taking away) (MOVIE FIVE)

So what Was Wrong with Movie 5?
Coloring was Changed.
The Widescreen Cut off too much.
The whole beginning of the movie was cut (About Latias and Latios Mom and Dad)
The Ending was totally lame, I mean the Music they Played.

Well I liked it alot even though the theme song sucked. I am going to miss Veronica and the other voice actor's.

I thought it was a great movie i wish they had of released movie 7 over here in Australia now my collection looks stupid.
