Ok, So I'm confused about ariados "trap thread" move since the attack is affecting the player but also defending pokemon does it still work if the pokemon evolves or would it wear off.

It would wear off. The defending Pokemon is specific.

This would probably be by far my favorite set as far as color scheme and type since it matches up my favorite football team. What sucks, though, is that I can't spend any money to buy singles.
