Ruling Level Down VS. Effects on pokemon.

I know that when you evolve/level up that you remove all effects on that pokemon. Would this be the same if my opponet used Level Down on 1 of my Pokemon Lv.X? Lets say that it is Blaziken FB and I use Jet shoot. He Levels me down would the +40 damage then be removed?

Yes that would be true because it would like be using a warp on someone who is paralized the effect is gone

Yes, De-leveling up is pretty much the same as de-evolving so those effect get romoved.
