This thread is for anyone to who knows Japanese or would like to study Japanese. All levels are welcomed and encouraged to participate. You can come here to get questions answered, answer questions, discuss Japanese related topics, or just converse in Japanese!
If you would like to be a tutor, please PM me and we can set something up. If you would like to create a lesson plan or a suggestion for a lesson plan, please let me know! I would like to make this as open-ended as possible to allow people to customize this thread to their learning level.
Lastly, if you are to type in Japanese, please provide at least kana forms, Romanji, and English translation since everyone is at different levels. This doesn't apply to conversations between people though.

さいしょ、みんながじぶんのじこしょうかいをしなさい。わたしはLostVoiceです。アメリカじんだがいまにほんのくまもとけんにすんでいますね。にほんごとにほんぶんかをべんきょうすることがだいすき。ごねんまえからにほんごをときおりべんきょうしたいました。わたしのにほんごがへただがもしみんながしつもんをもっていれば、どうかたすねてください。
Saisho, minna ga jibun no jikoshoukai wo shinasai. Watashi ha LostVoice desu. Amerikajin daga ima nihon no Kumamotoken ni sundeimasune. Nihongo to nihon bunka wo benkyousuru koto ga daisuki. Gonen mai kara nihongo wo tokiori benkyoushiteimashita. Watashi no nihongo ga heta daga moshi minna ga shitsumon wo motteireba, doukatazunetekudasai.
Firstly, do self-introductions. I am Lost Voice. I am American but now I live in Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan. I love to study Japanese and Japanese culture. I have studied Japanese off and on for 5 years. My Japanese is bad but if you have questions, please ask.
It doesn't necessarily have to follow that format. Do what you feel comfortable with and remember that me and other tutors are here to help. Also, flamming and offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
