Ruling Legend Energy question

I use the pre release card sleeves. They are thick enough that you cannot see through them.

With that in mind, am I allowed to use those Pokemon Legend Basic Energies????

THis will be a non issue if they make them in eng....but....
 
Since you are allowed to play up to six japanese cards, I guess you can also play those legend basic energies, but only 6 of them!
 
Technically, you couldn't use any of them. That is because they were released after PotF. POP banned the usage of foreign cards after any sets after PotF and made it so you could have only 6 foreign cards PotF and back. So I would have to go and say no you can't use any of them.
 
When did they get rid of that rule? And would you mind putting up a link of where it was?

But they m ay still be counted as basic energy. You may be right, but I could of used an Japanese basic energy from PT:Arceus. It doesn't look like it has a set on it, but I doubt they would limit basic energy. Remember that you can use any language energy cards, so it won't count towars your 10%

Contrary to popular belief, the foreign language energy in your deck counts to the 10% of cards you can use. I think that it's stupid, as well as many other people, because there is no foreign text on it, but it does count to the 6 foreign cards you can use in a deck.
