If you've read any of my other few posts in the past couple days since I've joined, you'll know that I'm returning to the game from a decade+ long hiatus. If you haven't read any of those posts, you'll have learned that from the previous sentence anyway. So if I sound dumb, I'm not, it's just ignorance.
I've been doing some investigating into the state of the game and how things have changed over the past 10 years or so, and part of that has been reading threads/discussions, here and also elsewhere. However, I'm running into a continual problem of, basically, not knowing what words mean. There's a lot of terminology that's tossed around that people seem to take without even thinking about it, but it all goes right over my head.
I'm not going to ask anyone to personally make me a dictionary of Pokémon terms, etc., but is there a resource of some sort out there to help me out with this? It would be a lot easier for me to process what people are talking about if I knew all the things they're referring to. In the same vein, is there a reference somewhere of archetypal deck styles, so I know what cards/combinations people are talking about in reference to certain things?

EDIT: Sorry to edit this in, but it seems like I can't make new posts to the thread in this forum. I have read the rulebooks of the theme decks that I've bought, but most of the things I'm having a hard time understanding are what seem to be more fan/player terminology than official terms.
