Images of Double Crisis Blisters, Kyogre/Groudon Boxes, EX Trainer Kit [1/21]

I am DELIGHTED! Mainly because of THE fact that both Latias AND Latios are going to be Psychic-type for the first time in English TCG History!! :D

I know it's really the ocean, but it looks like someone dug a hole in a grassy field and dumped poor Kyogre there. :p

I wonder if any of these cards are going to be reprinted, and then become legal for standard. That would be cool ^_^

Oh man oh man can't wait for these! I really want to get Aqua's Kyogre as I had the original one.

The art looks amazing, just like the old gold star latios and latias.

Wait, no Dragon Typing for Lati's? That's pretty disappointing, but I can live with it. Also, even though these cards are likely just promos, they have some pretty amazing art! It pops out and gives you that really 'zoom' feeling!

Kyogre/Groudon boxes are average. Just artwork updates to sadly unplayable cards. If the Energy costs were at least reduced a bit, I could see them being at least 'okay', but they really don't merit the attack costs. Pass.

Ah! We're guaranteed 8 Holos in each blister! That's great, and it should making collecting AND deck building easier for this set. I personally prefer the Aqua Pin/Coin, despite how I prefer Team Magma over Aqua. Considering how strong the set looks so far in terms of playability and artwork, I'm at the point where getting at least 2 blisters for my birthday is a no-brainer!
Sadly, I don't care that much for the booster pack artwork. Team Magma looks nice, but Aqua is just really generic.

I hope the latios and latias trainer kit doesn't go the way of the bisharp and wigglytuff trainer kit. I was trying to find this thing, and I couldn't even find it. Heck, there is only ever one video of someone opening that trainer kit.

YAY! For the first time in American history we get psychic versions of Latios and Latias. Stoked!

I bet the Kyogre and Groudon boxes are alternate arts of the theme decks ones. Hopefully these are at least genuine black star promos.

Let's be honest: Bisharp VS Wigglytuff was a pretty mediocre deck. The only reason I would ever consider getting it is for the Trevors.

I got the Bisharp/Wigglytuff one...because I wanted the holo Wigglytuff for my live card pokedex. That is all really. If I could have found just that card on ebay I would have been fine with that but I hadn't been able to.

Which is actually one of the main reasons I like the new Latios/Latias trainer kit. Psychic ones after all this time.

Couldn't agree with you more. The Psychic versions of the two will be a nice addition to the Latias and Latios I got from Dragon Vault.

Sorry, but.... 7 cards per pack???? What?! Neither in its worst moment of TCG this booster packs brought so few cards. I remember Expedition Base Set decreased from 11 to 9... and they did it just because of e-reader technology. What is they reason now?

Arrgg!

By the way.... I like the Team Aqua pin.
:D

This really isn't an issue once you realize this is a Mini-set, and has only 28 cards (not counting un-numbered cards) for you to collect.

I've thrown pretty much every past one in a draw (Or not even bought what they came in), but the pins of just the cut-out team logos are amazing

I really like the pins, too. :< I might have to break down and buy some English cards for this set, if I can find a place around here that's still selling Pokémon TCG stuff anyway.

Why aren't they legal already? They'll be perfectly playable as soon as 21 days pass from the release date.

I mean the older versions being legal. Some of the cards seem like reprints from the EX series.

It's a mini-set that guarantees a holofoil in every pack. The price of this won't even be full pack price (and if it is, it's because of the pin) so if anything this is a better deal than most card games with 5-Pack minisets.
