If you don't feel like reading all this then just skip to the last paragraph.
Way back in Christmas 2001 I got a Nintendo 64 for Christmas. At first I didn't know what it was and mostly just wanted to open my other presents, but that night my dad plugged it into the TV and set the thing up. I got two games, Pokemon Stadium 2, which is why I'm a pokemon fan today, and Dr. Mario. Pokemon Stadium 2 was amazing. I loved how it was bright, 3d, and had never ending fun. I was new to it all, and it was amazing. Dr. Mario I simply disregarded for a while.
The Gamecube was slowly replacing the Nintendo 64 so I was able to get a lot of games for cheap. I soon had an amazing collection of the best games like Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 64, Turok 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 3, Zelda OOT, Zelda MM, Super Smash Bros and more. I would play them everyday. Video Games were all new to me. I just loved adventure games.
For my Birthday in 2005 I got a Gamecube with Luigi's Mansion, and bought Pokemon Colosseum the following day. It didn't give me the same amount of excitement I had for the Nintendo 64, but it was still all new, creative, and fresh. I remember I didn't get addicted much though. Only Zelda Wind Waker comes to mind. I bought more and more games for both of the two systems, but I was so bored with what I bought. I had the feeling "Been there, done that".
Since I was losing interest in video games I soon bought a Wii off a kid two streets away. It came with 9 games, but I hated every single one of them. I had that feeling "Been there, done that", again. I bought games like Mario Galaxy but I got bored of it fast. I was completing it way to quickly then Super Mario 64. I later got games like Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Mario Kart 64. Brawl was way to like Melee. I was already bored of Melee. The online play was good, but I didn't find it interesting enough. In Mario Kart Wii I had a different problem. I could play Mario kart 64 as much as wanted back then and not get bored of it, but Mario Kart Wii is driving me nuts how boring it is. (Bad pun)
So now it comes down to this. I keep wishing that games on my original 64 were much longer, so I could play them more but there not. I'm not too impressed with what I have on the Wii.
I need a game recommendation. I need something just as interesting as my original 64 games. I currently own a Wii, Gamecube, 64, and DS.
