If you don't feel like reading all this then just skip to the last paragraph.

Way back in Christmas 2001 I got a Nintendo 64 for Christmas. At first I didn't know what it was and mostly just wanted to open my other presents, but that night my dad plugged it into the TV and set the thing up. I got two games, Pokemon Stadium 2, which is why I'm a pokemon fan today, and Dr. Mario. Pokemon Stadium 2 was amazing. I loved how it was bright, 3d, and had never ending fun. I was new to it all, and it was amazing. Dr. Mario I simply disregarded for a while.

The Gamecube was slowly replacing the Nintendo 64 so I was able to get a lot of games for cheap. I soon had an amazing collection of the best games like Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 64, Turok 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 3, Zelda OOT, Zelda MM, Super Smash Bros and more. I would play them everyday. Video Games were all new to me. I just loved adventure games.

For my Birthday in 2005 I got a Gamecube with Luigi's Mansion, and bought Pokemon Colosseum the following day. It didn't give me the same amount of excitement I had for the Nintendo 64, but it was still all new, creative, and fresh. I remember I didn't get addicted much though. Only Zelda Wind Waker comes to mind. I bought more and more games for both of the two systems, but I was so bored with what I bought. I had the feeling "Been there, done that".

Since I was losing interest in video games I soon bought a Wii off a kid two streets away. It came with 9 games, but I hated every single one of them. I had that feeling "Been there, done that", again. I bought games like Mario Galaxy but I got bored of it fast. I was completing it way to quickly then Super Mario 64. I later got games like Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Mario Kart 64. Brawl was way to like Melee. I was already bored of Melee. The online play was good, but I didn't find it interesting enough. In Mario Kart Wii I had a different problem. I could play Mario kart 64 as much as wanted back then and not get bored of it, but Mario Kart Wii is driving me nuts how boring it is. (Bad pun)

So now it comes down to this. I keep wishing that games on my original 64 were much longer, so I could play them more but there not. I'm not too impressed with what I have on the Wii.

I need a game recommendation. I need something just as interesting as my original 64 games. I currently own a Wii, Gamecube, 64, and DS.

I'm not familiar with the Wii, but...

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Some games I would recommend for the DS include:

Turn-based RPGs:
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IV

Strategy RPGs:
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift <---- Really good. ;o
Luminous Arc
Fire Emblem (next year)
Disgaea DS (this month)

Action Adventure:
The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass

Action RPGs:
The World Ends With You

I would also recommend Mario Kart DS and Super Mario 64, but since you got bored of their counterparts on the Wii...

Hmm based on your post, I can only see you don't like Wii games. Everyone so far (more or less) said Mario Kart Wii is great, Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best games of the year and so on.

I would buy Guitar Hero (or Rock Band). Maybe Okami (very nice game). Also I would try Star Wars: Force Unleashed.

Oh here goes:

---------------------------------------------------------

Super smash brother brawl
A good fun nintendo freindly fighting game great for tournys and brilliant to play by yourself a must have!

You could try No More Heroes. You play an assassin that kills the top 10 most wanted men (for a girl, of course) with his trusted beam katana.

fire emblem 7, (just fire emblem in english) is a great game, it'll only cost about $20, and levels can take hours so it is a good long game (there are 30+ levels, not counting side quests), and also has an awesome hard mode too. might be a little hard to track down though. it is a turn based, strategy rpg game. and it is for the gba

Wii: GH3,Rock Band, i heard Fire Emblem is a good game for it, and a gamestop guy told me he played the star wars force unleashed game demo and that it was AMAZING
GCN: don't remember that many great games. it really wasn't all that great
64: IDK. haven't been playing that long
DS: New Super Mario Bros., GH:OT

Best games for the systems IMO:

Nintendo 64: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Quite possibly the best game ever. It's a beloved classic.

Gamecube: Resident Evil 4 - The original is a masterpiece. It really helped push the system to it's limits.

DS: Elite Beat Agents - This catchy, offbeat title fits the handheld perfectly, and is a must try at least.

Wii: Super Mario Galaxy - One of the best Mario titles you'll ever play. The level design is perfection.

If you have these titles or if you've tried/bought them already, look at the other posts. ;f

dmaster out.

Are you guys reading what he wrote?

Maybe you aren't as addicted to the games because you grew up and learned more about them. They weren't as 'mysterious' to you.

Wii- Brawl does have a good adventure mode. That takes up about 8-10 hours.
Cooking Mama Cook-Off has fun games that utilize the Wii Remote and is pretty fun in a group.
Rayman Raving Rabbits has lots of fun minigames, but it is easy to beat.
Wii Fit is a great game to play, you can have hours of fun with playing and beating all the games, and trying again to beat your family's record.
Guitar Hero may be a bit pricy, but it does appeal to teenagers and 'rockers'

DS- Animal Crossing is a pretty good game. Its the kind of game that you get addicted to, playing for many hours catching fish, bugs, fossils, and trying to make your house look good.

I think you may play too many video games. Maybe you should lay off and go outside. Play a sport.

The most addicting and new game for me has been Super Mario Galaxy. The graphics and gameplay are BOTH AMAZING. Just an overall wonderful game.

Also, if you like music a lot, get Guitar Hero 3 or Rock Band

Games like ocarina of time and ff7 won't let you down
007 goldeneye for the N64 Is one of the best shooters ever

ALSO perfect dark I forgot to mention for the N64 Just as good as goldeneye and it's by rare aswell...red

No but I here Nintendo Is making the next Zelda completely different from the rest
Miyamoto thought it was a little to samey for his taste

Let me know if you get Pokemon D/P because I can battle you on Wi-Fi if you get it.:)
