I don't know if WPM is going to like it but anyway I am going to tell you! I can see that there were a lot of spams here on the forum last month (actually I think it is geting better (lass spam(er)s)). But anyway I would suggest that WPM make this forum non-registerable for some time ( That noone new can register). I mean those who are registerd now can still login and forum would be normal for registered persons. If WPM would do that, then mods, Smods and admin would have some more time to ban spamers and do their work. Then after like month WPM would open make this forum registerable for new mambers again. This is what on some other forum did.

I had problems with grammar and making sentences. I hope you understand what I mean anyway. ^.^

Yes, your sentences are almost perfectly understandable. It is quite a good idea, the mods can concentrate on current spammers. But there is a problem. Those who want to join will have to wait and they may get impatient.

Maybe if someone would really want to join, would just send WPM an e-mail and WPM would register him. You can see that there are lots of members who don't have any post. I think members like that don't have time to send WPM e-mail and wait for answer. Maybe he would have much more e-mails so I don't know if this is good idea. So I don't know. Maybe it would anyway be better if noone (BTW: is noone right spelling?) could register.

No, bad idea. Turning away members from joining is not the right thing to do. If you see spammers then please report them using the report button and we'll try and fix up the situation as fast as we can. We do our best to reduce spam and it would be reduced even further if you report it but turning away people isn't the right thing to do.

If you want more action to be taken then I guess we can be a little more harsher in our actions towards rule breakers, that would certainly put people into line and maybe bans might have to be given out to repeating offenders. Just wait until WPM or a Supermod give their views on this issue.

Just remember, if you see someone begin spamming then please report it. It's the best thing you can do to help us.

Ok. Nevertheless, I think the ruling of the forum is firm enough. All serious matters are taken care off quite fairly. By the way, S_H, the correct spelling is "no one".

Yeah! You are maybe right Abhorsen but if you take a look of member list you can see that there are 1058 members of Pb which didn't post any post. ???. Why are they registered then? I understand that someone who registered yesterday or the day before yesterday didn't write anything. But others?

That really isn't an issue of spamming, because if they haven't posted, they haven't spammed yet. I agree with Abhorsen here. Plus, what about the new members that aren't new to message boards? Not every member who registers new here will be a spammer, and discriminating like that is really not a good idea.

And in regards to the spammers here currently, there really isn't much we can do that we aren't already doing. We warn you, we explain why we warned you, and we tell you to try to be more meaningful in your posts.

If this board wasn't so high traffic, it might be taken into consideration. But due to the constant traffic of the forum, I think it'd reflect bad on us.
