How to make, simple, basic fake cards. That's what I'd like to know.

This may not be a good place for this, or this thread might not be a good idea, but I've posted it now.

I'm not good, first of all, with fonts. I know the fake card resource has them, but I can only use them for thirty days.

Also, how to put the text on. I've managed many awful looking cards with text out of the card.

How to get a picture to fit, I just can't do that. It doesn't appear to want to go in! Any help on that is great.

Finally, I come to the bar of info. I can't do that. Which font should I use?

Are there any free fonts, which are alike the normal cards if so, please say.

If these questions are answered, I'll turn this is into my fake card thread.

Just use the font guide in the resource thread. It tells you where to put the text, damage, HP, name, things like that. For the image, just take the image and put it behind the blank layer. And then resize that image. The blank, however, must have a transparent background for where the image goes.

The bar font is Frutiger LT 55 Roman, size 9.01, line spacing auto, and 101% character spacing.

For the free fonts, it's going to take some searching, but Googling them should be able to get you some of the needed fonts.

Thanks. I'll keep on looking. I'm starting out on Photoshop CS4, so I'll be able to do layers. I'll get started on my set as soon as possible.

Also, I have a mounting suspicion this should be in the Fake Card Discussion, but no on ever seems to post there anymore.

Photoshop CS4 is a great way to start with fakes. Good luck ;D For the Fake Card Discussion thread, while no posts have been in it for a while, someone will still see it.

Thanks. So I still need to find fonts, and get some blanks. Plus how to make the text stay where it is and inside the border.

It's all in the font guide. It makes sure that your text stays within the border and where it should be. But if you are going to move the text layer around, make sure it stays in generally the same area as the horizontal axis before you moved it.

EDIT: In short, when moving the text don't move it too far to the right or left and you should be fine.
