Ruling How to Get Rid of Poison? Retreat?

If I wanna get rid of poison is there any way to get rid of the special effect like retreat to my bench or any item cards?

There are some item cards that do remove special conditions like Full Heal (http://pokebeach.com/scans/furious-fists/93-full-heal.jpg)
There are some Pokemon like Virizion EX that prevent and remove Special Conditions when certain energy are attached (http://pokebeach.com/scans/plasma-blast/9-virizion-ex.jpg)

Other methods include Evolving or getting a Pokemon back to the bench both of which remove special conditions.
