Collecting How reliable are binders for storing valuable cards?

Hey guys!

I've been told that foil cards sometimes get warped if stored in binders for a long time (Even when double sleeved). How true is this? I currently keep all my precious cards in top loaders but as my collection is growing, space is becoming an issue. This is why I'm thinking of investing in high quality binders but the warping/bending (I also live in a pretty humid area) thing is giving me doubts.

Should I ditch the top loaders and start keeping my double sleeved cards in binders?

Hmm, double sleeving your cards should help prevent warping. The plastic card protector pages you put them in can help too.

Since you live in a humid area, I would place them in a dark, dry place; like a closet. There are stories of people putting their binders in a closet, forgetting about them, and finding them years later still in really good condition.

Just be careful.
