Do you guys think that Infernape 4 Lv X could still be a competetive pokemon with Garchomp C???

I lack Blaziken FB cards, but I have 3-1 Infernape 4 Lv X.

I mean, could this work competetivly:

2-1 Infernape 4 X
2-2 Garchomp C Lv X
1-1 Dialga G X (tech)

Or something along those lines?

Infernapes Power lets you disrupt basically and just like Garchomp C, you can use DCE as the energy cost for its attack too. So now I have super power attack AND a power snipe.

It's very slow.I Tryed it with a complete sp. Also with Ninetails and Typhlosion Prime . Niether works.

You can try it, but it's sort of slow. Not as slow as Steelix_Kid said, but somewhat slow. You can use it as Luxape, Apechomp, and a combo of the three as a sort of luxchompape.

You could run it with Heatran x to get the fire energy back from the discard and do 100 a turn :D

We're not really helping with your strategy, but we can discuss Infernape 4 LV.X in general.

Moved.

Its not so slow. You should probably thin the Infernape 4 lines and just concentrate on its Pokepower. Although your opponent gets to choose, it can still be pretty disruptive. If you DO decide to focus on Infernape 4, then make sure you have Bronzong G because you won't be using fire spin anytime early.

3 honchkrow g/4 crobat g/3-1 infernape 4/ 2-2 garchomp c is godly fun to play just be a lil energy heavy and dont forget those nrg exchangers!!!

Yeah as a spread deck. You could try it with gallade 4 to spread, just play it like PG-13 but infernape instead of palkia.

With SP decks, you're a lot better off with blaziken or luxray. It just doesnt work as efficiently.

Using in other decks though, could prove to be much more useful. The power of luxchomp comes in its ability to snipe weak benches, which is the main weakness in today's metagame with pixies running around and the impossibility of levelling up from the bench.

Similarly, donk decks like Donkphan and jumpluff focus on their ability to snatch a prize every turn, but they run the risk ofbeing unable to get a ill every turn when a big HP pokemon is out. This is where infernape 4 becomes useful; most of the time, the entire bench is prone to being OHKOed if it was ever sent to the frontlines.

In fact, I'm running a 1-1 line in my pure jumpluff deck in place of original 2 warp point, and it's working wonders. Apart from being immune to vilegars which are becoming increasingly common in my area, its also proving to be a lifesaver when people try to limit their bench, when two warp points proved to be extremely insufficient. Plus, it can't be sniped in one hit, and no players have yet to even bother dragon rushing the lone infernape when there are sunfloras on the bench.

^Ive also seen it used in charizard for another heavy hitter and the disruptive power.

Currently making a deck to tech it with Heatran Lvl X.

I'll let you know how it goes.
