PS3 and blu-ray (me) blu-ray =sony (sony no.1 fan) blu-ray=60gb HD DVD=less (something around 30gb) I hope u gonna change u mind
Personally I'd choose Nintendo over those two any day. But if it came down to which of those is better (price being excluded) than I'd have to say Sony wins. Their library is definitely more based around the kinds of games I play. Online is great, but I don't do it much, and that's really all the 360 is: massive online action. Most single player games that sell kind of suck.
And HD is more successful. I've watched Underworld: Evolution on Blu-Ray and I did notice a difference, but honestly, it wasn't that great. Definitely not worth the extra money that you'd have to pay for it. If you really want to see all the pores on people's faces though, by all means, waste your money...

Have you seen Wii? Graphics are incredible, games look like classic nintendo, and personally, I find 360 to be like eating dirt, and ps3 seems really over-hyped (and really desperate to steal motion sensors). Sorry, but I won't pick either over Wii (but for the sake of this threat, Ps3).

Please. The Wii's controller is going to revolutionise gaming. And, when Sony tryed to clone it... they wound up putting Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble into a controller. Plus, the first-party Nintendo games rock. (Metroid Prime got Game of the Year awards all over the place, and most people say one of four things for best game ever: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.) Don't expect those on your overpriced paperweight or the system that's fighting it's own predecessor. In addition, the Wii booth was the most popular at E3.

Xbox360 and PS3 are just upgrades on their previous consoles, there is little to no new features at all, except for graphics and speed. Now unless you want to pay $1000AU for a PS3 and $120+AU for games then you better be very rich. PS3 is the biggest rip off console in gaming history and i'll be very surprised if Nintendo doesnt do better. E3 lines for PS3 were a 30minute wait... E3 lines for Wii were 3-4 HOURS wait, while Wii had a massive curious audience, Sony's PS3 demonstration was (as stated by people who went - which are fanboys too) "Boring". There was little to no clapping and the games (despite how good the graphics MAY be) looked quite poor. Just search up the demonstration on YouTube, it's probably there. If you want a cheap PS3 with the same games and basically the same graphics, buy an Xbox360 - it's a stack cheaper.

Thank you Abhorsen. It's really funny- Sony's claiming invension of 3D real-time console graphics... when in fact Nintendo had them first. (Star Fox/Star Wing, depending on your region.)

Oh, and I KNOW the COPYING Sony is doing. I DON'T CARE! It's still got the best games(DMC 4, RE 5) and Graphics, and it plays my mass quantities of PS2 and PS1 games. Beat that.

Get Wii TP. That'll be awesome. Then, get Super Mario Galaxy, and the Metroid Prime subseries (GCN included). When it comes out get SSBB. Also, DL Mario games, LOZ games, and Metroid games. Voila! Instant Wii library, albeit small. Find a better collection of PS3 games. You can't.

Mario, Metroid, decent but can't hold up to the UBER GODLINESS of the 5 series I talked about! The PS3 games pwn all the Wii's! All the systems look awesome, though, I must admit.
