I was wondering if anyone can help me figure this out. I have a guy telling me this card is fake because it’s not a shiny holo foil. I got this out of a sealed pack of a sealed collectors tin from Walmart. I also got a second one exactly like it out of a different tin from GameStop that had just been delivered and stocked that day. Both Shining Fates. This guy said that people buy them and reseal them with fakes and take them back to the store for refunds. I did the flashlight test on it and according to what I have read it passed. The guy also said to pass the test you should not see light through it at all but I have read differently. My question is, do they make these that aren’t shiny holo foil? Also for the light test I used an amber reading light with the card laying directly on it. It’s the only light I have available.

That card is fake. Yes a real one should have foil.
Thanks. I just found it odd that I got 2 of the same without foil from 2 different places and one just being stocked that day.
