these instructions will only work if you are using WINDOWS XP
click your start button and click RUN
type in the bar "cmd" or "command"
when the black box opens up type in "ipconfig" and hit enter
(IT SHOULD BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE INFO THAT POPS UP) now find the number next to the part that says "default gateway" (the one NOT below the sub header HAMACHI) and write it into notepad or a word proccesor INCLUDING THE PERIODS AFTER EACH LETTER
now open hamachi and go into preferences and go to the status icon
then on the right find where it says connection in the middle and click the button that says "detailed configuration"
click the button that says "manual configuration" and enter the number you got from before into the empty space (dont worry about the port number leave it as it is)
then click "OK" and restart hamachi by closing it completely and opening it again (OR YOU MAY NEED TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER ALSO AND/OR RESET YOUR ROUTER/MODEM) to reset your router/modem unplug it from power for at least 10 seconds and reconnect it
and if you did everything correctly it should work
