Guy89's Emerald Nuzlocke with a Twist!
So the other day I was bored and looking through things and found my old 3rd generation games, and thought about the Nuzlocke fad and decided to join it using my Emerald, since it has nothing on it. I'll remind you that I've never done a Nuzlocke before, only speed runs, which usually contain a lot of trial and error on the part of your Pokemon, so it's quite a leap. But I guess I'll wish myself luck and here I go.
Rules
Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
I may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
I may not evolve captured Pokémon, but evolved Pokémon may be caught.
I may not use the HM Fly outside of battle. (I'm gonna have to walk everywhere)
All pokemon will be nicknamed after teachers I have had before (Ya'll aren't gettin to be named fer my Pokemen)
