Hey guys, I'm trying to get back into the game. I have a really specific question that probably won't make sense. I'm doing it for a deck I'm creating, but I don't want to give away what it is just yet.

Anyway, I remember a card from Secret Wonders - Smeargle, who let you just take three energy from your deck and put them into your hand. Now that Smeargle has been rotated, are there any cards similar to him? I'm looking for a Pokemon that's a basic, or a stage one that comes out really fast. I know about Vulpix from PT but he's the wrong type.

Also, are there any Pokemon that have a power that just lets them return that Pokemon to your hand? Sort of like Search and Escape on Chatot G, but it goes back to your hand and ideally doesn't make your turn end. I know about Seeker, but I think a power would work better for what I'm trying to do.

I've looked through a lot of scans, but I haven't had any luck. I'm hoping that I've just overlooked something, but if I haven't I guess I'll try to find an alternative. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
 
In regards to your energy problem, Bronzong SF might fit the bill

As far as a Poke-Power that returns Pokemon to your hand, it doesn't exist, at least to my knowledge. Sorry.

Both of these pokemon's poke-powers act as a super scoop up, which gives you a chance of returning them to your hand. In regards to your energy question, bronzong was already mentioned, but electrode prime is also capable of looking at the top 7 cards of your deck for energy, and attaching them. Sadly, it KOs itself in the process.

Another pokemon which will let you search the top 5 cards of your deck for fighting energy is sandslash SV

Other than that, I don't know any cards.
 
Oh I believe I misunderstood his question. I thought he was asking if there was a Poke-Power that would let you return, say, a Pokemon on the bench to your hand other than the Pokemon that had the power. But anyways, Umbreon Prime and Promocroak return themselves to your hand. I recommend Umbreon unless you're planning on running an SP deck.
 
Thanks guys, are those the only two, or is there once that can do that while remaining on the bench? That's what I was looking for, but both your posts really helped me out. Thanks so much!
