I have a gengar deck and i play metagross, nidoqueen and vileplume in it.
(I know it's 4 stage 2 lines! )
But i thought of ditching the vileplume line for thicker metagross and nidoqueen lines. Right now i play:
1-1-1 vileplume
1-1-1 nidoqueen
1-0-1 metagross

And i would like to fit in metagross LA as a vileplume counter and it would work in most matchups. The deck i have now only have real problems with viletomb/ gengar decks that have trainer lock as main strategy. So metagross LA would help. (I think?) What do you think of this?

Yeah, you really need to choose 1 or 2 of those techs and thicken their lines. If you're going to play Vileplume, you really need it to be thick, so I say either ditch Vileplume or ditch everything else.

I know 4 stage 2 lines isn't the best to go with but this deck has worked really good (And i mean really good) But i have a hard time vs gengar/vileplume decks or any deck with vileplume. So metagross LA would help me k.o it with ease. (If i flip heads..)

If you are trying to find a Vileplume counter in Gengar, then definitely drop Plume for a 1-1-1 Metagross line, or 2-2-2 in case your opponent gets the Trainer lock out quickly.

I would like to play both nidoqueen and metagross. Should i try playing 2-1-2 nidoqueen and 3-2-3 metagross? That way the metagross would be more of a deck strategy than a mere counter.( I would play 2 LA and 1 SV. )

The deck i have right now beat a luxchomp deck with ease. I never got vileplume or metagross out in that game, but i used gloom as bait so they would't k.o my haunter.

But anyway.. would these lines work?
4-2-3-1 gengar SF
3-2-3 metagross (2LA 1 SV)
2-1-2 nidoqueen RR
2 uxie LA
1 azelf LA

Those would be the pokemon lines.
Maybe i'll add something that i kept secret ^^
