So I have one question:

Do Gen 3 Pokémon retain the country they're from when they're transferred to Gen 5/6? Say if a Japanese Ditto is transferred to Pokemon Diamond, then Black 2, will it stay Japanese or will it change to the region it moves to in Gen 4?

Pokemon retain their nationalities until you evolve them.
