garchomp SV, exploud SV

Would these two make a good deck together? i was interested in playing garchomp SV since i saw some decks built around it i looked at the card a little closer and found it interesting. Now i was just gonna make a straight garchomp deck but noticed that a garchomp c lv.X can one hit it if lucario gl is on their bench (or mine?) so that might be a problem. But exploud SV would take care of that. But i don't want to just put in a 1-0-1 line but more of a 2-1-2 or thicker (3-2-3) so i can use it as a secondary attacker. And since it can discard the opponents energy it has some synergy with garchomp. Would this work good, and what more should i play? (techs, protection, and draw power) Well uxie for draw power of course.

I have a Garchomp SV deck, and I don't run Exploud. Why?

1) I run Ambipom G, which makes a great Garchomp C X counter
2) Garchomp SV can OHKO Garchomp C X with an overkill of 240 damage. It's even more of an overkill than Dragonite FB!

I used to play Garchomp SV with a 2-1-2 Ampharos line, one of each Ampharos (Prime and PL) Ampharos Prime is pretty nice for Luxray GL X matchups, and Ampharos Prime is good for this deck because of Garchomp X's power. It really slows the deck down though.

Speaking of which, tech in Garchomp X. Restore is pretty helpful but you won't run any basic energy, but I really like the power. Drops a damage counter for each heads out of 3 on all your opponent's Pokemon when you level it up. It's not reuseable and can be sprayed, but it's still pretty good.

Run a fire type Pokemon. You want to counter Scizor Prime and Dialga G X. I run Reversal, Warp, and Cyclone energy, but a direct counter is nicer.

And @Tyraniking
He he, saw your deck ^^'' Thats why i wanted to build one too. So credit to you for the idea :D I know I can one hit garchomp c, but i don't want it to one hit mine first.
Yeah garchomp X is interesting and it would let me have some techs that would be stage 2. I will probably play some basic energy since i don't own a single warp, cycle or call energy (i have DCE) And I'm trying to get call energy right now.

Would gengar be a problem to this deck? Since i only play colorless right now I'll always hit on resistance. So I might tech in something vs gengar.

I just thought of something awesome to the deck that will let me collect easy prises if i can'r k.o the defending pokemon. Pokemon circulator
link here
http://pokebeach.com/scans/unleashed/81-pokemon-circulator.jpg

It would let me take away the pokemon with energy attached to it and my opponent would have to sacrifice something. No player would have a pokemon with over 120 hp and/or much energy attached to it so that he/her could send it out and survive a blow from garchomp SV.

But know to the pokemon again. If I don't play exploud SV as secondary attacker what other pokemon would be a good choice? Maybe something that can make a combo with the thought that my opponent will have some energy problems. Help is appreciated ^^

i have made a deck list now. Still missing some cards but here it is.

3-1-3 garchomp SV
3 chatot MD
2 uxie LA
1-0-1 togekiss UD
1 ambipom G

4 plus power
4 pokemon reversal
4 pokemon circulator
2 expert belt
4 rare candy
2 pokemon communication
1 luxury ball
1 bubble coat
2 volkner's philosophy
3 bebe's search
2 professor oak's new theory
1 pokemon collector

4 double colorless energy
4 upper energy
2 basic energy (just random type)

So i'm missing 4 cards (i think?) Any ideas of what more i should play or something i don't need (like chatot?) that i could take out.
The strategy is to attack weaker pokemon with hp under 120 and no energy attached on them so i get the k.o s fast.

Whats chatot for? I think you could take 2 out, as well as a volkners to beef up the garchomp line to 4-2-4 or 4-2-3-1, your choice. I would also add 4 call, since the deck needs no type of energy. You can also play cyclone or other fun things like that.

Well i don't have any call energy or cyclone energy -.-' but i'm trying to get some. Chatot is just a starter since it has no retreat cost and a no cost attack. I'll also try to get the thicker garchomp line but right now i don't have anything of the needed cards. What pokemon would be a good starter for this deck, spiritomb AR? Or is there anything that would work faster/ better.

Chatot MD is actually pretty good for this deck. Chatot, with 4 Cyclone and 4 Circulator, can buy you some time to recover.

Speaking of Circulator, that's not a bad idea. Coupled with Cyclone energy, you'll be able to not only hit hard but you'll usually be able to make a KO every turn.

If you don't have Cyclone and Call I suggest you get them because they are staples. You want the energy line to be

4 Call
4 DCE
4 Cyclone
1/2 Dialga G counter energy

I managed ti get 2 cyclone energy and 2 warp energy at my league today. So the cyclone energy goes to this deck. Made a new deck this weak too so i think i'll put the warp energy in that one.

off subject:

It's a Gengar deck with 1-1-1 vileplume UD, 1-1-1 nidoqueen RR, 1-0-1 metagross. (I KNOW, 4 STAGE 2 POKEMON LINES!) But the deck works really good based the deck on a basic gengar/nidoqueen deck and putted in metagross and vileplume. So it's speedy and can trainer lock really good.
