Game Reviews Thread?

I think over in the video games section on the beach, we need a game review thread. Since many people are asking about games and such, maybe we need a proper, big thread for this. This way, other general talks will not be pushed off over reviews, questions and all that. And also, the same questions do not need to be asked ove and over again. A good place for storage. What do you think?
 
But they could just Google some website and find some reviews in that website. Does seem easier to do that rather than wait for a member to do it.
 
I don't see how it would hurt anything. It would take some time for a valid review of the game, but other than that I don't have an issue with it. Gliscor does have a point, so I am just wondering if it is worth the investment in time.
 
I think it would be too opinion based. None/Very few of us would be "capable" of accurately rating a game. I guess we could have people right articles on games, and have the rating system available, but once again, the younger crowd is more likely to rate games like cookming mama a five star, when it really deserves a 2 star.
 
That would be pretty much like going to youtube and looking at the 'comments' section after watching the game's trailer for advice/ratings on the game. Not very helpful.
 
You could make a Game Reviews thread, but people have done game reviews on the Forum before and not that many people are motivated enough to write reviews when as many people have already said, they can look online and get thousands. You'd have to drum up a lot of support, but if you get good reviews you could review Pokemon games and possibly get them on the main site. It's one option.

Well, I may do some reviews and make this thread, and maybe get some people to help me review requested games. It would take some time to organise though.
