Gallade 4 Lv. X

So, I think we all agree that, strange happenings barred, Platinum is almost definitely rotating at the end of the season. Therefore, before the final countdown, I would very much like the opportunity to play the only SP I have ever really liked--Gallade 4. What would be needed to make this card viable for high level play? Not asking for a full decklist--just potential combos and techs, perhaps a trainer line, seeing as I have never played SP.

Off the top of my head, 1 Spiritomb LA and, of course, Bats, seem good ideas. Heal Block Solrock seems a good idea too. Perhaps a single Jirachi for devolution.

For your Trainer line, you will definitely need 2-3 SP Radar and 3 Bebe's Search, and, of course, Pokemon Collector. Make sure you run some Seeker/Super Scoop Up and some Judge/Professor Oak's New Theory/Copycat.

If you want to run this before rotation comes by(which you do), you will need to run Cyrus's Conspiracy, Energy Gain, Poketurn, and Power Spray. So the Trainer line should look something like this:

3 Pokemon Collector
4 Cyrus's Conspiracy
4 Poketurn
3 Energy Gain
3 Power Spray
1 Aaron's Collection
2 SP Radar
2 Bebe's Search
2 Super Scoop Up/Seeker (your choice)
2 Judge/PONT/Copycat (your choice)
Then for the Pokemon, you should most definitely run Solrock TM and and Lunatone SV. Spiritomb LA is a great idea, so the SSU's/Seekers should be used to mostly pick it up. You'll need Uxie LA and Azelf LA, and Crobat G's. Jirachi could be used. So maybe:

2-2 Gallade E4 LV.X
2 Solrock TM
2 Lunatone SV
2 Uxie LA
1 Azelf LA
2 Spiritomb LA
2 Crobat G
1 Jirachi UL/CoL

Then for energy, you have 18 open slots. You obviously won't need that much. I feel like there should be a secondary attacker, possibly Garchomp C LV.X? Now that I think about it, that could be a good idea after spreading. So, you'll need:

2-2 Garchomp C LV.X (or 3-1)
3 Double Colorless Energy

Then you have room for 11 more cards. Uxie X comes to mind, as does Pokemon Communication. Then you can just put in 9 Psychic Energy. So here's what the decklist will look like(just a skeleton):

2-2 Gallade E4 LV.X
2-2 Garchomp C LV.X
2 Lunatone SV
2 Solrock TM
2-1 Uxie LV.X
1 Azelf LA
2 Spiritomb LA
2 Crobat G
1 Jirachi UL/CoL
Total Pokemon: 20

3 Pokemon Collector
4 Cyrus's Conspiracy
4 Poketurn
3 Energy Gain
3 Power Spray
2 SP Radar
2 Bebe's Search
1 Aaron's Collection
2 Super Scoop Up/Seeker
2 Judge/PONT/Copycat
Total T/S/S: 26

7 Psychic Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy
2 Rescue Energy
2 SP Energy

Total Energy: 14

Hope I helped.

I suggest an entirely different route to Yoshidude. I suggest you run

4-3-2/1/1 Gengar SF/AR/Lv. X
2-2 Gallade 4 Lv. X
4 Spiritomb
1 Unown Q
2 Crobat
2 Uxie

4 Poke Turn
2 Cyrus
3 Collector
whatever else.

Basically, you retreat for Gallade, then level him up (Supposedly from a spiritomb, hence the unown Q), then poketurn him; promoting a gengar. Then, use gengar's compound pain to deal 30 damage to everything they have. If you don't, just use that 10 damage to help you snipe with Shadow Room on their uxies and Azelfs. If they run heavy SP, you could just use the Arceus gengar/Arceus spiritomb cursegar combo.

The lack of Junk Arm and VS Seeker on that list kind of makes me cringe. That and the decidedly non-SP structure, which will probably make it hard to pull of Power Sprays. But it's probably more consistent than my list. This is my current list.
