Fun Team WIP

I have been working on a few teams now, and with the RMT forums getuing active again, I thought that I should release my latest OU team, here it is:

TheKing (Aegislash) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 168 HP / 4 SDef / 84 Spd
Jolly Nature
- King's Shield
- Shadow Claw
- Sacred Sword
- Iron Head
I have always despised Aegislash, he has an unnatural mix of stall and sweep. I could never run him correctly. This is a normal moveset so nothing to explain really.

Idontevenknow (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 44 HP / 144 Atk / 144 SAtk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Tri Attack
- Recover
- Discharge
- Iron Tail
Omg how much I love this guy, he may not be an Eviolite Chansey, but he gets the job done! Discharge for the parahax, TribAttack for a powerful STAB with a chance for the pokebto be burned, paralyzed or frozen. Iron Tail is for coverge and so he doesnt get walled by Rock types. He may not be much, but this guy has sweeped teams 6-0 before!

BigGoldThing (Electivire) @ Red Card
Ability: Motor Drive
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 144 Atk / 252 SAtk / 64 Spd / 48 HP
Quiet Nature
- Discharge
- Focus Blast
- Fire Punch
- Iron Tail
Electivire, should be used as a special Poke, but what about those attack stats from Electabuzz? I'm putting them to use. Red Card is like a last resort, for example when a Moxie Scrafty or a SD poke is annoying me, I'll jut switch him in, and with his decent bulk he could survive a hit and Red Card them off, Discharge for Stab and to paralyze an annoying pokemon. Fire Punch, Iron Tail and Focus Blat is gor coverage.

FlyFatThingFly (Togekiss) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 140 SAtk / 156 HP / 100 Atk / 112 Spd
Naive Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Dazzling Gleam
- Air Slash
- Extreme Speed
I run Togekiss as a mixed poke, which I despise very much due to the fact that choosing the nature annoys me so very much. Dazzling Gleam and Air Slash for STAB and flinch hax. Aura Blast fo coverage, I am thinking of using Roost or Thunder Wave instead of ES.

Funny nicknames okay here is my opinions and suggestions:

TheKing: I am not a fan of Weakness Policy :
Most teams would try to finish it with Earthquake
which bring it to the red bar if not OHKO and without
Shadow Sneak against faster threats the Weakness
Policy boost wont help. Do you mind explaining the EV spread?

Idontevenknow: Why adamant nature if you are mainly
using special attacks ? I would switch Iron Tail for Toxic
so you can cripple rock and other threats and modest nature.

BigGoldThing: You said something about him being bulky but
look again. 75/67/85 is frail. Red Card is gimmicky item on it and
without Life Orb or Expert Belt you will have a problem against bulky threats.


FlyFatThingFly: I don't like making it mixed it is not that strong even
with full investment in special attack.

You are missing 2 Pokemon. Unless this is for double battle?

I honestly have no idea what was in my mind when I made this team a while back, but the EV spread seems to sortof work. And as I've said, I hate using Aegislash so I'm not really that good with it. Weakness Policy works great, trust me. it has helped me during a couple of occasions, he is more of a late game sweeper and a filler.

I am using Adamant nature because it's atttack isn't the greatest. And I prefer to keep Iron Tail as it helps with many other stuff like Fairies.

I said he had decent bulk, he is also a late game sweeper and a revenge killer. Red Card helps to throw the opponent off balance. But I may try Life Orb.

By being mixed, he can use Aura Sphere to help against many things like Rock, Steel and Dark types. Dazzling Gleam makes use of his Fairy typing and Air Slash to FlinchHax, which is why I am thinking of using Thunder Wave to help.

And I forgot to mention about that, I had a Smeargle and Medicham as my final 2 but I decided to cut them out because they didn't do that much to help the team. If you want I can show you what I ran on them.

Aegislash: well if it works it works. still i wouldn't give up shadow sneak.

Porygon2: use quite nature. you shouldn't lower its special attack if you
are using it. specially more then iron tail which is situational.

I still recommend Life Orb over Red Card for Electivire. If something will
hit it then it will hit it hard. so even if the Pokemon that will come after the
forced switch will not have a super effecting move Electivire will be too frail
to take the next hit and survive. Specially after you gave him quite nature.
In most cases he won't be able to outspeed the forced switched Pokemon.

Togekiss: you have Dazzling Gleam for dark types and the most common rock
Pokemon you will meat is Tyranitar which is dark type as well. ( I am talking about
wifi battles) Flamethrower can replace Aura Sphere in order to hit much harder
Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn which are common threats on Togekiss.
Thunder Wave is great option to replace ES but is pretty predictable.

Yes show the other 2. it is interesting to see other peoples teams and learn from
them. besides without showing your full team how can we know you have good synergy and strategy?
