Ruling "...for each Energy attached to..."

When a card like this one

says "...for each Energy attached to [whatever]", does it mean Energy cards or just Energies? That is, if the opponent's Pokémon has a Double Colorless Energy attached to it and I use Psychic, will it deal 30 or 50 damage?

It depends on the card. Some say Energy, some say Energy cards. The wording does matter.

So say you attack a target that only has a DCE on them. That's two Energy, but only one Energy card.

Meloetta says "Energy," so Psychic will do 50 damage.
