Fairy Tail has been one of my favourite anime for a long time. Ever since the anime has been on a break I've been reading the manga to still be able to follow the guild and their friends on their adventures.

This thread is to discuss and speculate on the manga. The anime has followed the same story so far, so if you only watch the anime you might face spoilers here. Feel free to join in on the discussion, however, if you don't mind spoilers!

Currently Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Erza, Wendy, and the cats are on a mission that is given to them by a mysterious Wizard Saint, Warrod Cken, who is also a former Fairy Tail member. Their goal is to save the villagers of the frozen village that is trapped with ice magic. During their adventure they are dealing with the treasure hunting guild, Sylph Labyrinth, and Minerva with her demon partner Doriarte, who has joined the dark guild, Succubus Eye, after Sabertooth. Flare also appeared and has chosen to help Fairy Tail!

What do you think of the recent events and what will happen next?

I feel like Gray is going to be very important in the arc because of his past with this type of Ice and the Moon Drip. He's had the most experience with it. As for Flare coming to help out the crew I believe that with her obsession of Lucy she'll be wanting to join Fairy Tail because before it said she had left the village to join Raven Tail.. She was Naive. Now that she's wisened up a bit she'd go join Fairy Tail because she was never really evil.

I'm sure they'll be successful saving the village anyway and getting what they wanted. They always do.

I just read the new episode and you were right about Gray. I wonder what will happen now the ice is molten, but nothing is there. Would the eternal flame be a living being? Natsu heard its voice and the title of the next chapter also hints towards it. I also want to see Erza's battle!

I think the Eternal Flame is one of those spiritual being in the FT world. Maybe the Eternal Flame will a flashback stories on the next chapter

I didn't see this one coming. I wonder if dragons will get a bigger role now. I really want to see Igneel appear, but we'll probably have to wait a while for that to happen. It's nice seeing Flame Atlas again, though! I'm a bit confused, however. I thought that due to the destruction of the portal the dragons arriving "never happened". How does Flame Atlas remember Natsu?

maybe because that thing did happen... maybe a tiny part were erase.. .. anyway.. that silver guy is creepy. Tartaros having a team of elite and devil slaying magic

I was curious when Tartarus was going to appear in the story. That guy kind of looks like Gildarts. He's on the bad side but somehow doesn't seem very evil to me.

He also froze Atlas Flame 400 years ago? Doesn't that mean he's over 400 years old? I'm a bit lost. Even more so because I still don't get how Atlas Flame remembers Natsu after they destroyed the portal and the events technically never happened.

Still loving it, though! Too bad Erza and Minerva stopped battling; I would have liked to see Erza beat her!

Maybe later Minerva gonna join Tartaros. Maybe his Gildart twin. They didn't really say he froze Atlas. they just state that that kind of magic that froze atlas. (Correct me if i'm wrong).

I have no comment for the technicalities of the portal.. I'm curious about the other 8 members of elite tartarus

It would make a lot more sense if it was the same type of magic. I also want to see the other Tartaros members!

Minerva is definitely evil enough to join it. Erza tried to get her to not let her dark side take over her. That might be a hint to Minerva actually becoming good.

.Did you saw those 9 demon. Didn't expect demon could be guild members. no wonder they keep a big secret. I can't believe the council has been wiped out

I wonder will the Orecian Seis support their alliance member

I just read the new chapter and I was surprised about that as well! It would be really nice to see Oracion Seis again. I was actually looking forward to seeing Cobra again. I'm still hoping he'll join Fairy Tail. :p

I thought Demons were "monsters" and not considered or even willing to be in guilds. I want to read the next chapter! :D

Same here.. just a couple of days left.

They way cobra talk.. it seems like he may stay neutral. Hoteye and angel might also stay neutral. but i wouldn't be surprise if all of them just stay neutral.

Maybe those demon just like to be in power. The finally just wipe of their other subordinate just for experiment purposes..

If they are incredibly strong.. it think the other Saint Wizard should be involve . I will be dissapointed if only FT's power of nakama defeat that whole guild..

And i can see Bluenote, Rusyrose n Kain from Grimoire Heart and so as Minerva going to have the extra demon upgrade under Tartarus' flag

So the battle between Fairy Tail and Tartaros is about to start! I'm excited to see Natsu fight in the next chapter. :D Why do you think they would be targeting the Magic Counsel? Are they trying to take over the world?

Minerva will apparently also become a demon. If it happens, I wonder whether it will be a permanent change.

I thought it was really funny how Loki knew their locations. xD
