Ruling Fairy Charm Question

I am not sure if I am reading the card wrong, or if it is a glitch it the online TCGO... I had the "Fairy Charm Ability" 171/214, that prevents damage from the attacks of GX's, but when Reshiram Charizard attaked my Granbull that had the tool attached to it, it got knocked out. Does the card not work against Tag Teams, and only 'normal' GX's? Or is this one of the many glitches with the current build of the PCTGO since Unbroken Bonds came out.
 
If only having the skill to read an entire card, from start to finish, was a talent I possessed... Then I wouldn't ask this Homer questions! D'OH! I guess I jumped the gun and thought it blocked GX's.

If it DID block GXs, the TAG TEAM wouldn’t have been able to hit you because if it says GX in the name, it counts as a Pokémon GX no matter what.
