Kyurem EX
Kyurem EX is a card that could work in The Truth depending on your meta. With 180 HP, only a few select Pokémon could knock it out with one attack, and a weakness to Steel types makes Kyurem EX very dependent on your meta. It can attack for up to 120 damage while taking advantage of cards most The Truth decks already use. However, the drawback of Kyurem EX is that it cannot use Hail Blizzard, the attack with the highest damage output, on consecutive turns. For attacking, Kyurem EX requires up to two Water Energy, depending on the attack, along with two Colorless Energy. Kyurem EX isn't too slow to set up because of Double Colorless Energy - a staple in The Truth. Since the Kyurem from Noble Victories is also frequently used, quite a few The Truth variants also use Water Energy, meaning no Rainbow Energy are discarded even if Kyurem is knocked out. Kyurem EX would do well in a meta of TyRam, ZeT, 6 Corners without Cobalion, and other Pokémon that cannot take advantage of Kyurem's weakness or knock out Kyurem in one hit. Kyurem EX would do poorly in a format of Magnezone and Cobalion, because both can knock out a set up Kyurem EX with a single attack, while Kyurem EX will struggle to knock out either. If you plan to use Kyurem EX in The Truth, you also definitely have to use another attacker. You will need a Pokémon that does well against Magnezone, such as Donphan or Terrakion, and a Pokémon that does well against Cobalion, such as Reshiram or Reshiram EX, for a The Truth deck using Kyurem EX to be as effective as possible.
