Espeon DEX deck

Pokémon:
3-0-3 Infernape PLS
3-0-2 Blastoise BCR
4-3 Espeon DEX
Keldeo EX BCR

Trainers:
4 Juniper
4 Cheren
3 Colress
2 Float Stone
4 Superior Energy Retrieval
2 Plasma Ball
2 Communication
4 Escape Rope
2 Skyla
4 Candy

Energy:
5 Water
5 Fire

Strategy: First off, Espeon DEX's ability blocks all affects from attacks done to your pokemon with no energy. Infernape has a 120 DMG attack, letting you 2HKO, and it involves discarding a fire energy and a normal energy ( all the energy ). Blastoise is there to let you put down the extra energy. Thus, after attacking, there's no energy on, and Espeon does its job. The keldeo and float stone is what I use to switch away when it comes to special conditions.

The help that I need is making myself not run out of energy when it comes to facing a non ex deck.

Btw, I would use emboar instead of blastoise if I had any..

You've misread Espeons Ability: The pokemon has to have an energy attached to it to be not be affected by any effects from an attack.

Aside from that, i don't see a reason why you need such a heavy amount of Eevee and Espeon where the only deck it would be useful against would be Accelgor/Gothitelle, unless you play mainly with friends where their main attackers have annoying effects. The Whole Blastoise/Infernape concept becomes alot weaker due to you misreading Espeons Ability, but i would say it was a shaky concept to begin with. You can take out Infernape and all the fire energy and just run more Keldeo EX and maybe add in a couple Black Kyurem EX (Black Balista) which would essentially turn this deck into a Keldeo/Blastoise deck; A much more heavier hitting deck which doesn't constantly discard energy (which was your problem)
