Does anyone else like Dream Theater, or even know who they are? They're one of my favorite bands now and very few groups can come close to matching them in sheer technical skill.

Okay.. Dream Theater is a progressive metal band that first came onto the scene in 1992 with their only hit to date, Pull Me Under. Yes, it's the one on Guitar Hero 4. They also have the song Panic Attack on Rock Band 2, which any serious player will know is quite challenging on the drums. Anyway, those arent even their best songs but they are still great. Their guitarist is John Petrucci, possibly the most technically skilled guitarist in the world. I dislike when people say that bands like the Jonas Brothers are good, even calling them the new Beatles. They arent. Those people would not really appreciate Dream Theater for what it really is, a technical masterpiece. Some of their songs have up to 7 different time signatures. Sorry for rambling on, but I feel like this band is very overlooked. If you want to hear some, try As I Am or Forsaken.
