If I use Drapions poke power can I poison a benched pokemon?
What is a defending pokemon?

If I have two special drakness energy and an expert belt attached to drapion and I use sniping tail would the attack do 80 damage to the active and 80 damage to the benched pokemon of my choice or just 40 to the bench?

You cna never inflict a special condition on a Benched Pokemon.

A Defending Pokemon is which Pokemon your opponent has active.

You can only add damage done to the Defending Pokemon, not the bench. It would do 80 to their Active Pokemon and 40 to the Benched Pokemon of your choice.~Mark
