I'd say, and they way they change avatars. I've had a Porygon2 avatar for as long as I know. In fact, everytime I change my avatar, it's always another avatar with Porygon2. So obviously you can draw the conclusion that I'm obsessed with Porygon2.

Depends. Some people use their idol as their avatar (not really, but you get the point), others (like me, might I add) mock themselves with it.

Most likely, I'd say.

Avatars tend to reflect an individual persons own likes or dislikes, while still be appealing to the person using it too. I think they represent a personality more so than an identity, but if you were like Brock in your avatar, then you'd have to be commended.
