Ruling Ditto LA

Greetings. I would like to ask a question regarding Ditto LA's Poke-Body..

Poke-Body Ditto DNA
As long as Ditto is your Active Pokemon, its maximum HP is the same as your opponent's Active Pokemon. Ditto can use the attacks of that Pokemon as its own. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.) If that Pokemon is no longer your opponent's Active Pokemon, choose 1 of your opponent's Active Pokemon for Ditto to copy.

The question is, what does the highlighted part above exactly mean?

A. You need the same type of energy for Ditto to copy the attack. For example, Ditto vs Dusknoir DP. Does Ditto need 2 Psychic Energy and 1 random energy to use Hard Feelings?

OR

B. Ditto can copy Dusknoir DP's Hard Feelings attack regardless of what type of energy attached to Ditto?

i think its A. and no i dont think. I strongly go for A. Its been a debate since the base set series about this magic words, "(You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.)"

even if you look at dictionaries,necessary means needed(kind of),i can translate in malay but then again,its another spelling error things...

back to the topic.i guess ditto is good to combo with skittles in terms of energy variation,or we could play multi energy on it.

It would probably be better off saying "You need exactly the same type of energy" cause that's basically what it means >_>

It means that you need the exact same energy to use the attack as the Pokemon the attack is actually on needs. So if the attack you are using needs GGC, you need GGC on Ditto to use it.
