Ruling Discarding Expert Belt from Luxray PA

I have two questions about Luxray PA and Expert Belt:

1. What if I discard Expert Belt when using Gadget Bolt and Luxray has already enough damage counters to be knocked out when taking out the Expert Belt, would I still be able to attack and do the damage and then be knocked out. Or would Luxray be automatically knocked out after removing the Expert Belt and I can't do damage?

2. If I discard the Expert Belt would I be able to do 120 damage when attacking or would it stay at 100 damage?

1. You would do damage to your opponents active pokemon, then you discard expert belt, and you are knocked out.

2. 120

1. Yes, you can use Gadget Bolt w/ Expert Belt if discarding Expert would knock out Luxray. And yes, you still do damage.

2. If you discard Expert Belt with Gadget Bolt, it does 120.
