'Detective Pikachu' Live Action Pokemon Movie Trailer Released!

Ryan Reynolds is using the exact same voice for Deadpool, so it's hard to take a character like Detective Pikachu seriously when I can't help but hear Deadpool whenever he speaks.

It's not a omg, horrible idea, it's just I feel like the voice direction could've been different, been better for this character.
 
I think it looks pretty fun. I'll go see it. The designs are gross and creepy but that's probably how they would look in the real world. Mr. Mime is especially disturbing.
 
I always saw those internet images of people trying to make pokemon look realistic.

The style reminded me of the Pokémon Apokélypse trailer from 2010 that caused a decent amount of hype - lots of potential to be gritty, although much better quality.
