I keep all the cards in my binder, so I can trade them with collectors for more competetive stuff.

Out of curiosity, do you come across a lot of collectors that care for the used-to-be competitive cards? I know a few that care about the full arts, because they look nice. But aside from that I don't really know anyone over here that really cares which makes unusable cards pretty worthless (unless you like to collect them yourself).

I go to a lots of big tournaments, so that is probably why.

I don't know if there are any 'big' tournaments over here. I know about little ones (even tho some of those turn out in quite big ones as well) but I don't think we have things like championships or something over here. Even for other cardgames, bigger tournaments mostly happen in neighboring countries but not here (aside from the few times it did happen here XD).

Depends on where you live really, and based on this comment, I'm guessing you're not in North America. I don't really know anything about the SA, Asian, or Aussie Pokémon scenes, but I can talk a bit about Europe, as can probably Morda since we're both in the Netherlands. There are a decent amount of European events, though some of them do require you to travel, which is very similar to the NA scene just that it's across country lines instead of state lines. All of the big events are scheduled far in advance so you have plenty of time to make travel arrangements. You can always ask here or at a local league, or on the official Pokémon.com website if you'd like to find more events in your area. I know there's a separate website for the Benelux area official Pokémon events, and there may be something similar for other regions/countries as well.
