Strategy

Similar to most Darkrai/Garbodor builds. Shut off abilities with Garbodor, disrupt their plays with items/junk hunt, and then beat them down with Darkrai to win.

The deck uses a couple of new cards and a few out there cards, but I will explain.

Yveltal: The promo, not the EX. As temping as it is to run the EX, I actually think the promo might be better. It provides an alternate means of acceleration in case Trevenant Item Lock becomes a thing.

Professors Letter: An energy search that gets you two. Gets energy in the discard faster for acceleration.

Life Dew: The choice ace spec. It just seems like the natural fit. It's a tool, which can be used on Garbodor, but it can also be retrieved with Sableye to make it harder for them to take prizes. It's also one of the many cards that benefits from the catcher nerf (can't catcher around it). It's an experiment, but it seems like one that could work.

The rest is pretty self explantory.

Added the bullet-points to make your decklist completely synchronous with the rules! :D ~Kecleon

Swap enhanced hammers to crushing hammers,, cut some energy switch for an extra hammer and some random receivers. Apart From that its all good.

Don't think cutting energies is a good idea, considering Darkrai decks run about 10 atm.
Also, I'm confused, why are you running Professor's Letter, 1 claw? Or why even the 2 Enchanted hammers when you could run Crushing?
I'm not seeing the point with Super rod either, Darkrai decks are more aggressive, I have no list, but you should try not to twist the deck entirely by changing the line of trainers entirely, it is alright to cut down a few for other cards that are more necessary with X&Y coming, but don't put yourself in a position with 10 supporters, 2 of which are useless against trees(Bianca, items will stack in your hand), and no random receivers, even if Random receiver is locked by Trees, it's still a better option than Bianca. If you are afraid of trees ruining your day, you might as well just add in Cheren, or Caitlin.

Edit: Also, I know Yveltal EX is tempting, it's such a good card :D
Think it actually could do better than people think, attaching the third energy to it allows for 90 Damage, the regular of Darkrai without the 30 snipe, and a free energy switch.

ALSO! No need to run Claw anymore, run Muscle band instead, or even alongside claws.
