Ruling Damage Porter

Ok now my question is-
If i were to use Damage Porters attack, would it count as damage or will cards like Unown G and toxicroak G still be able to block it?

it conts as damage because it "says 10 damage", instead of damage counters.

If it said "place damage counters" (like dusknoir's damage even attack) then it would be blocked, but no, damage porter is not blocked by anything that stops effects of attacks other than damage.

Oh, yeah just making sure. Can Energy Gain work for the TM's attack?

Yes it can. TM's and tools are different so you could have 1 tool and as many tms attached to the 1 pokemon if you wanted. The only thing to note is that you can only have 1 tool attached at a time and damage porter can only be attached to sp pokemon. so porygon z promo couldn't use it
