Hey guys, I'm starting to look into building some sort of tech deck. Something like CurseGar or VileGar or something like that. My question(s) are about the legality of the cards. I have noticed that people like to run Mr. Mime (from Mysterious Treasures), or Claydol (from Great Encounters) or energies like Call or Cyclone. Also, it seems like Moonlight Stadium is a must for Cursegar. But all of those cards come from illegal sets (for the exception of Call-MD). So my question(s) are: Are these cards legal, or are the decks that are formatted this way now illegal for Tournaments and considered Unlimited Format?

And by the way, sorry for not posting links to the card images, I dont know how to do that..
and if anybody can find a link that has the complete listings for legal/illegal cards I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for sticking with a newbie :D

Many of the cards you listed - including Claydol GE, Mr Mime MT, and Moonlight Stadium - are illegal because the sets/expansions that they are from have been removed from the format. In an unlimited format you can use any of these cards, but decks used in competition in official sanctioned events in the current format have to be from one of the sets listed at the following URL:
