Pokemon Could the Pokemon TCG be Subliminally Teasing/Confirming Pokemon Z?

With the release of Roaring Skies in May, we will officially be 6 sets into the XY series with no Zygarde card. This speculation, but i believe TPCi is setting it aside to debut in a set to promote a new video game (Pokemon Z). Believable rumor, or pointless speculation?
 
Yeah they're most likely holding off for when the reveal two new Zygarde megas/formes for X2Y2 or whatever is next.
 
I've been speculating this for a while, and I think it's pretty likely. Though it's worth noting that Giratina's TCG debut was rather late, but still before the official start of the Platinum block.
 
We did see Kyurem in the third BW set Noble Victories. None the less we still got formes (along with Meloetta) for it in B2 and W2 with Boundaries Crossed.

But that is not always the case. As Athena said we got Giratina before the release of Platinum and we didn't even get the land forme of Shaymin until Platinum when we also got it's sky forme. We also got Arceus at the literal tail end of BW series despite it being known about sooner.

Still I think it's fairly easy to conclude that Zygarde itself is being held for something else, probably the release of the follow up game(s).
 
^Nope. Shaymin was released before Platinum... in Japan. That's the problem with english sets. They hold on some cards to make it tie with the newest game or whatever, but DP7 was a movie-themed set and supposed to introduce Shaymin, so Shaymin was in fact made into card before its new forme made its game debut.

They're not teasing anything IMO. We all know Zygarde is gonna be the next mascot, they're gonna have something new for it and as much as I'd like the game (yeah, just one) to be called Z, now they decided to start breaking patterns, so we have no ideia if we're going to have just one game, or another pair, like Gen V.
Nonetheless, the thing is now they're focused on Hoopa and the movie, they're still riding ORAS wave and I don't think we're going to see the next Kalos games until 2016, precisely because they're not showing any interest in teasing Zygarde. Also, if Zygarde will have new formes, they're probably going to use them for the next movie, so another reason to not expect anything Kalos related until mid-next year...
I do admit though, no Zygarde card yet is strange but at the same time, it seems to me that with each gen, they increase the mystery surrounding the 3rd mascot...
 
or maybe zygarde isnt getting anything and seeing as XY7 seems to be Hoopa-centric, maybe they are prepping for gen 7? just a thought.
 
Gen 7 is still far away from us at this point... and that's actually a good thing. They should give it a rest... For me, Gen 7 could wait until 2018...
