Hiya,

o.o
Uh...The Mewtwo themed trophy is this year...Last year was Charizard, and next year is unknown. The only chance for this year is the world championship and National Championship...Depends on where you live though.

cya.

i have no idea where the tournament is, sinc u did not tell us where you live.

also we have no idea what the theme is for next year, Mewtwo was this year. I hope it's Arcanine. ;).

just tell us where you live, and we'll try to help :D.

There's big tournaments EVERY year...

City Championships, State Championships, National Championships (where you get the Mewtwo Trophy), then Worlds (where the trophies are better). Cant remember if they gave out trophies for Cities and States, I dont think they did here.

Hiya,

Well...They did give trophies Cities and States. I think Pokebeach had the picture...

cya.

well, it's nothing special, I now have this trophy with a stupid mewtwo on it, and I hate mewtwo, and I have something to light it up, so that mewtwoi would glow, but, well, the plug IS AMERICAN, why do you guys always have to have everything different, miles instead of metres, abnormal plugs, and now I have to go to every store to find an outlet that converts European into American, well, I guess I'm going to have to buy one at worlds (2, if I win a trophy there)
enough about me, I guess that you can't win anything if you're just a starter, or you should practice a lot, and if you don't know anything about archetypes, then your changes of winning are almost 0
and the date will be released sometime next year

oh, and when I finally have a digital camera, I'm going to send a pict, ok?

Stop complaining about the conversion. The plug isnt specifically "American". It's just a plug, it's not like they're gonna make it so you have to import. The plug on mine is "probably" american too, but you can buy all sorts of adapters at electronic stores.

Anyway, there is only 1 winner out of however many hundreds of people there are at Worlds. The chances of winning for anyone is pretty much 0, it all depends on luck of the draw, who you're paired against and successful coin flips. THAT is how people win Worlds, there is little skill involved.

Technically there should be ONE American and ONE Japanese player competing in Worlds, since the previous events are Nationals (i.e. per Country), but instead most of the event is composed of Japanese and American players with the rest having only a few from each country, talk about unfair to the rest of the "World"... I could go on about it more but some people might be offended so i'll stop right here.

isn't that just because
a) if you live outside of America, you have to pay a lot to get there, but if you live in America and came 2-3-4th, then you can go to worlds for a small price
b) most of the Americans who entered came in 1 to 4th, so they can come back for free next year

yeah, that's kinda unfair.
and I'm almost always lucky if it's about flipping, so, well, maybe I'll have a chance (yeah, I know, there's no such thing as being lucky, but, whatever)

more like 101 Americans, since there's like 2 GC's per state (50) and 24 national winners, and 8 LCQ for 2 divisions and 16 for 10-. so add all that up and it's around 156 or so Americans. though some could be Japanese i guess:p.

Anyway there's always a big event. go to www.op.pokemon-tcg.com if you're American or go to the foreign one if not and look for dates after they post them ;).

"National" means Whole Country. How can there be 24 winners for theoretically One event? (Yes i understand how the USA tournys work fyi). There technically should be ONE American person representing USA and ONE Japanese person representing Japan (for each age group/people legally invited), but as usually, those countries gets special privileges and get 1000% more people than the rest of the "World"... Hmmm, maybe they shouldnt call it "Worlds" and just call it "USA, Japan and others"... I would be correct in saying that.

^ well, I can't complain, my country is smaller then most states in America and there are less players, but, yeah, it's not fair.

sorry i didn't make the rules. i'm not sure if my numbers are right on the nationals part, but i'm pretty sure i am. IF NOT GO AHEAD AND CORRECT OTHER USA PLAYERS. <just had to make sure people saw that so they would not criticize ;)

i do agree it's not fair, but U.S.A and Japan are the leading people in the games, tcg and such so i guess that's the reason, or they are just where they were originally introduced??? i dunno, but i agree it's not fair.
